HD Nitrite Free Coolant RTU is registered to Cummins CES 14603, conforms to ASTM D6210 and is suitable for common heavy duty diesel engine requirements. It incorporates organic acid technology to protect diesel engines from liner pitting and hard water scale deposits. The silicate and nitrite free extended life chemistry protects all cooling system metals from corrosion including aluminum. Valvoline HD Nitrite Free Coolant can also be used in gasoline, stationary power, marine, natural gas and light duty applications. HD Nitrite Free Coolant RTU provides up to 10 years / 1 000,000 miles / 20,000 hours of service without the need for extenders due to non-depleting organic acid technology. The product is compatible with other coolants on basis of mono ethylene glycol, however mixing with other coolants may shorten the long life characteristics of the product.
